I thought the balance was excellent. Them scoring a massive deflection and an offside goal doesn’t reflect much on our performance. They are a top team and had next to nothing in the way of proper chances and we rolled forward basically at will for much of the game.

He clicks well with others, which is huge.

He just keeps being the outstanding best center back in the world. A true leader of men. Only Ramos has him bettered when it comes to scoring decisive goals. Can't remember any other defenders I've ever seen who come close to being able to elevate their goal scoring in times of need like that.

Think it's more about the competition. He's answered the challenge brilliantly. Mac Allister won't find it easy to get back in which is mad as he's the best midfielder in the league.
