Can't really see them getting relegated, there are too many other hopeless cases down there, but given their financial position I wonder what effect not fluking their way into Europe again might have on transfer budgets?

Can't remember exactly when it happened (and really don't fancy rewatching the game to find out), but at some point in the second half Trent went off the end of the pitch at the Kop End chasing a ball at speed. I think he took a little while to come back on, and I mentioned to my mate he looked a bit shaken. Given how his performance got worse as he game went on I almost wonder if he had a touch of the Karius's?

The idiot optimist in me wonders if Madrid are worried Trent's increasingly thinking this, hence the early approach. Reckon going to Madrid was a much easier decision last summer than it is now.

I was at the Oxford Plymouth game on Sunday, and Plymouth were truly dreadful. Think Danns did himself a favour getting injured rather than spending a season there!

Used to be a hairdressers near where I lived called Les Amis. I always wondered...

Was on Doak-watch this afternoon, getting drenched at one of the worst grounds in the country so you don't have to. He was really good, looked dangerous pretty much every time he touched the ball, created a number of chances, got cleaned out to win a penalty, should have had a tap in at the back post if one of his teammates hadn't got in the way, and was subbed on the hour.
