kenny7 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Interviewed after the game today, asked his opinion on the england job, and the fat headed f***** took no time in praising himself. Openly admitted he was good at what he does, and see's the england job as a straight fight between himself and McClaren. Self praise is no praise at all you fat headed t***.
smithdown Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 As he imagined himself in the role of England manager, Allardyce conceded that his pragmatism would extend to international football, however he would instruct his players to dictate play to the opposition. Evidently the Dudley-born former centre-half is excited by his association with the most exalted position in English football. "Clearly the level playing field that I would be on, and above most of the international teams with the quality of players that I've got, would mean that we would go out to outplay them and beat them," said Allardyce. "If I had Peter Crouch up front at 6ft 7in, then I'd play to him where his strength lies, like we played to Kevin Davies on Tottenham's left-back on Sunday. He completely dominated that area and created nearly all our chances from that position. But if Michael Owen was playing then I would play differently." divvy
Boca Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Imagine what the Bolton fans are thinking, watching their manager whoring himself for the England job every week on national television. Plus the players can't be happy knowing he wants out so badly. I can see it all going horribly pear-shaped for fat head at Bolton if he doesn't get the England job and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Billy Dane Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I'm amazed at his ability to keep a straight face while he's singing his own praises. I think there's a possibility that he actually believes the sh*t he comes out with. If I was Phil Gartside or the Bolton fans, I'd tell him to f*** right off.
Coyler Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Isn't he a club idol (Buddha?) there, though? Are they happy for him or something?
fyds Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Isn't he a club idol (Buddha?) there, though? Are they happy for him or something?Them saying 'Sam should get the job, he deserves it' is a coded way of saying 'we're sick of watching this clogging, rough-house, up-and-under type shyte this unimaginative fat b*stard serves up week after week - Nicky Hunt? Nicky Hunt? I mean for christ sake!' Or something like that...
stressederic Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Moments after that interview, Allardyce showed impressive agility to bend over completely in the middle and actually enter his own a******.
Leo No.8 Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 He is such a bell-end. All the crap he's been talking has probably reduced his chances of getting it if anything...
Armin_Tamzarian Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I think he's easily the best English candidate for the job. Twice the manager Mclaren is.
Boca Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I think he's easily the best English candidate for the job. Twice the manager Mclaren is. Twice his size, yes
Barnes' left foot Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 The reason why I'd never want that fat headed idiot in charge of the national team is that the midfield players would suffer playing his style of football. Look at Okocha, very skilful player, but playing for Bolton he looks so ordinary its unbelievable.
