Earl Hafler Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I'll be watching this match on Channel 5. I've seen Marseille alot this season on Channel 4's coverage of French football and it's another chance to watch the fantastic talent that is Franck Ribery. Marseille play a sort of 5-2-3 formation and have the players to cope with Bolton's direct football.
Nebraska Red Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 ... is like a Chinese torture. They are a horrible team to watch and have no interest in playing football the way it should be played. Even in a home UEFA tie against a poor French team, their game is all about throw ins , free kicks and shoving the opposition around. Barthez is still a clown by the way. I turned it off to watch Blackburn-Mackems and was treated to another poor excuse for football.
Nebraska Red Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 don't watch the 2nd half, your brain will atrophy. it's horrible and should be banned.
Falconhoof Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 see the build up to the match ? Sam Allardyce really milks his tv appearances. They can't get his fat face off the camera. He actually went through his team line up live on tv. Its not as if there's a dressing room full of footballers who might need some tactical advice or anything Sam. Its obvious there's a Spin campaign going on to portray him as a tactical genius. He was going on about seeing the way forward with sports science while he played football in the USA. Talking of spin, Slur is sitting next to Alastair Campbell in the crowd. Tough dilemma for a sniper who can only get one shot off.
Falconhoof Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Ribery had a good game. can't see Bolton getting past marseille.

Guest JV Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Ribery played well. Bet that fat cvnts having a right moan
Benitez Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 see the build up to the match ? Sam Allardyce really milks his tv appearances. They can't get his fat face off the camera. It's so embarrassing, cringeworthy stuff. It was like some bad pisstaking sit com, featuring a characature of a football manager. He really should have Ricky Tomlinson as a stand in double. Didn't watch much of this game - but what I did see was not much use to anyone. What I do like tho is how the Euro ref wouldn't let a couple of Allardyce's goons get away with anything
IgPig Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 (edited) f*** me watching that was hard work. And what's all this Big Sam meets the TV people malarkey beforehand? Was that his interview for the England job? He's a big fat c*** and i hope he gets really bad tooth decay. Edited February 15, 2006 by hamstrung
Jonesy Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 aside from Sam being a helmet. Bolton should of had two/three penalties tonight. That ref was shiite.

Mike Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 bolton season ticket holders must get neck braces with their match tickets.that is a f***ing dire way to play football. all they do is launch high balls into the box
