Anyone know if he's training with us yet? Will be interesting to see if he goes in to the academy or straight to the first team.

i doubt he will be anywhere near the 1st team for a while.

I'd assume so with most 16 y.os but he's built like Ade Akinbiyi and has already ran rings around grown men in League 1.

I don't think so, surely someone like Sterling should get a chance before him?!

Not if Ibe is better.

Let's play em both. Throw em in like we did Flanno and Robinson last year.

Sterling is about 2 years away from being anywhere near the first team. People rave over him like he would be a world beater straight away.

Guarentee you will see him on Loan somewhere before he even makes one competitive appearance in a red shirt.

Can't hurt to give him a try. Walcott was playing for Arsenal at 17 and I doubt Sterling would do any worse.

It's madness, he only turned 17 a couple of weeks ago, he's tiny, been in poor form the last few months and just got his missus up the duff. Let him progress as normal.

I dont get this argument. Nemeth/Dalla Valle/Spearing/Morgan/Sterling.. if they're really good at 17-18 they would've/will get a chance. You cannot just throw a kid in for the sake of throwing a kid in. Walcott had over 25 first team games for Southampton before he signed for Wenger, btw.

No, we transported him into the future to learn how to fight against the Man City Terrabots of 2019, but as he was leaving Melwood he said...

"Ibe back"

Mine's the one with the leopardskin collar - thanks.
