Silencio Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Hello everybody, does anyone know any good bars to watch Liverpool games in Berlin? My brother-in-law just moved there and he would really like to watch our games with some fellow Reds. Any recommendations would be really appreciated... Cheers
Benzo-13 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 The Irish bar in the Europa Centre always has our games on but that's in the west. For an Eastern or more Mitte bar I'm pretty sure the Irish bar in Hackesher Markt also shows our games if we're a main match.
Maldini Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Yeah someone recommended that to me when I was going recently. Didn't get to it though.

Benzo-13 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) I went there...bit crapIt is but Mick Hucknall was there several years ago when that lot lost to Arsenal in the Emirates - was in there having a fry up due to a hangover..A few of us started singing Simply Red songs at him as he stormed out.. Redray Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) Theres Killkenny pub at Hackerscher Market near Alexanderplatz. Also one called Irish Harp. No idea where that one is now, can't remember. Some of the bigger hotels will also show them. Here's link http://www.harp-pub.de/ Both seem to part of same group Oh, and do the Fat Tire bike tour. Superb. Edited October 6, 2011 by Redray
Leo No.8 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I only skimmed over the title but I'm not sure The Berlin shows Liverpool games. If you do go there, make sure you wear red leather chaps to show your colours.

The_MC Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Could do with a permanent thread for finding bars with LFC games in foreign cities. I'm going to Barcelona, then Marseille, then Florence (until Christmas) so i'm worried i'll miss a few games. I'm sure the LFC-Manc game will be easy to find in footie-mad Barca, but i may end up sitting in internet cafe's streaming matches for the rest :/. If anyone knows of anywhere in Marseille, Barcelona or Florence for games then do tell.
Cunny Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) I watched our game against Man City last season in Barcelona at Michael Collins bar http://www.michaelcollinspubs.com/ Edited October 7, 2011 by Cunny
Swipe Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Loads of Irish, English, even aussie bars in barcelona will show it.

Hector McDougal Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 In Florence, try Lion fountain on Borgo degli Albizi or the fiddlers elbow on a square just south of the train station. Few years since I was in either but they both should have it on.
