Gonna be questioned in a world exclusive interview on

The future - and whether he may ever return

Gonna announce he's coming home surely...!

Selling Xabi Alonso is the biggest mistake this club has made on the pitch in living memory.

I love you Xabi. Loads

He'll be diplomatic when he answers that question. He'll just say you never know in football but he's happy at Madrid.

He clearly loves this club though. I read on Twitter that a Real official told LFC TV they only had a certain amount of time for interview but Xabi interrupted and said they could have as much time as they want.

Love him. He was brilliant last night for Spain, apparently.

Think the questions on his future will be more about coaching. Hard to see him playing in another country now. Managment, though, is a different challenge.

In the trailer for it you see the interviewer (Clare something?) asking if he'd ever come back to LFC. It cuts before he begins to answer.

Seems unusual for a club to interview a former player in such a way, while he's still playing.

Check it out lad.

There was sand on the pitch cos it was dry and he was layin every pass up to compensate.

He's so under utilised by that Portuguese prick at Real it's criminal.

Talk about setting myself up for a big fall.

I imagine him to go to answer that question.

Cue Kenny Dalglish. Walking on set, giving him his shirt back, the set being torn down and it turns out he's at Melwood.

:D

there's defo mileage in the whole thing to make you wonder!

Saw Sid Lowe and Jen Chang waxing lyrical about him last night, Benzo. Was Xavi playing? One thing I love is how Xabi steps it up when other players are out.

No. It was Xabi and Busquets in midfield with Silva and Cazorla then Negredo and Vila up top.

Xavi was at the Moto GP today but Iniesta came on second half last night.

XA just bossed the whole game.

Aside from the obvious (Messi), he's the dream signing. Absolutely loved him. You never know, when Mourinho leaves and things are all change at Real again, and we're back at the top, Xabi might fancy it. The fans adore him here, and although hes a star in Madrid I know 100% they won't make him feel as loved. The thing is, he's the type of player that I think will go on to his mid-30s. He'll be back one day.

He's probably not used as well as he could be by Mourinho but he's still a key player for him. One of the untouchables on the team.

There is also the possibility Mourinho might want a more physical player in midfield, with the creative players further up the pitch
