It might be best for you chaps to do the early days of organising this via emails or through mobile phones. If you're planning a blockade etc there needs to be a spontaneous element to it and it'll certainly help if the club don't know about it all in advance, which isn't guaranteed by sorting out key details on a (sort of) public forum.

It's not meant to be a secret, eric.

We want numbers. We're not getting them but we want them.

Eg, are you the kind of supporter who gets to one game a season? Treat this as that game.

Are you the kind of supporter who drives to the city for a trophy parade? Treat this as one of them.

Are you boycotting the match? Come and let the club know.

Do you prefer to do nothing?

You want this announced and up and running SD? let it build from here?

is right

it could go up on other forums and see if it gets support

anyone who is registered elsewhere can put the idea up and see what's said? then facebook it and link it to the other stuff?

any help with that would be good

if the numbers are responding then the publicity would be next, asap

the idea of a blockade needs to be out there in mainstream media, be on facebook and other forums, it needs going out there to every supporters club. the reasons why we are doing this needs to be clearly illustrated and we need toinclude everyone . the very threat of a blockade and preventing games from going ahead might dissuade other financial institutions from refinancing, it will also crank up the pressure on Hicks to sell. this is not about causing a disturbance. this has to be about getting our club back. As a group of supporters, we have been far too nice so far. we've been bent over and shafted at every twist and turn. now its time for us to play by their rules.

hoping we can build on maybe 50 protesters one week to maybe 100 and so on will take too long. time is something we dont have. the Blackpool game is ideal. even their name lends itself to the protests. its a black day for Liverpool when it has to come tothis, but it has to happen

There's also the psychological herd mentality thing. So 100 people form what's an ineffective blockade, but 50 or so see this & join in - there are already people involved, so they aren't the perpetrators etc etc etc, before you know, you have 200, 300, 500 people. It becomes a bit of a laugh for those involved. It's not hard to see it working and working well.

It's how riots happen - not that I'm saying we want or are looking for a riot - but riots aren't planned
