anny road Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I am doing some commentary on Rugby League and Union on some weekends Yesterday the camera crew I was working with do subcontracted stuff for the BBC......Mainly Football Focus and the like and they were saying when ITV had the Premiership, the BBC only had football focus and Final Score so they would send subbies rather than there own camera crews Anyway, they werw saying that Sky and ITV would make life hard for them so as to limit there access to interviews and the like, to the point where at some games they would get nothing That reached a new limit at United, when they tried to get there camera equipment in it would be taken off them by United officials and locked away until an hour after the end of the game. They could get in and watch the match but not do any work. When they quizzed the officials they were told that it was Sky / ITV only....But the inferrence was United will make life as hard as they can for the BBC as they dont like them
Benzo-13 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Slur sees the Beeb as a Liverpool channel. He doesn't like big Al Hansen at all.
_00_deathscar Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 they put you on camera? He was the reason widescreen TV was invented.
floyd Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Why the BBC pander to the Tramp baffles me. When the beeb showed that programme, Fergie and Son, and showed how bent they were, why have the FA never acted on this? The Tramp had form, with his "money in the safe" excuse from Kanchelskis' agent,
Cam Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I keep saying this... the BBC should put the Manc games on last on MotD, for only 30 seconds and pixelate out all advertising on their shirts, ad hoardings and interview boards until Ferguson gives up his petty games.
Earl Hafler Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 He was the reason widescreen TV was invented. HD - High Daveinition
_00_deathscar Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 HD - High Daveinition That's just disturbing.
Duncan Disorderly Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I keep saying this... the BBC should put the Manc games on last on MotDThe main reason why Liverpool matches were mostly left to the last one shown on MOTD over the past couple of seasons was because it kept their viewing figures up throughout the programme.
