It's a brilliant gesture.

 

However given that they make more money per matchday than any other club in the world, they can afford to be a little magnanimous. Ditto with the Mancs who give 50% off any ticket for any game for U16s.

 

You'd hope that once we get on an even keel that we'll be as keen to share the wealth with the local community but I won't hold my breath.

Luckily Arsenal don't have a long history of dull workmanlike teams grinding out 1-0 wins, or a song celebrating the same, as that would make their fans utter hypocrites. Or newfabn tossers who have no recollection of football pre Sky.
