No this is not a new NYR-thread. I'm not gonna tell you to replace Dossena with Chellini and Yossi with Ribery. I honestly feel we have very good squad depth and quality enough to go all the way.

 

Best keeper in the league.

 

With Agger back we have four CB's three LB's Johnson who by the way is awesome and Degen who played alright the other day didn't he?

 

Midfield is awesome. Lucas and Mascher. Aquilani's gonna be good you all know it. Babel can still make it back just make him do more of what he did today. Benayoun's there Riera. Stevie G, the man.

 

Attack is awesome. Torres is awesome and Ngog has scored a couple. In the end Kuyt's gonna play striker if Torres is out.

 

I really feel we got something going here.

I personally don't think we have any problems with squad depth. If we have no injuries, we've got a very strong first 11 - with some very good players just outside that and we've also got a lot of promising youngsters.

 

So happy enough. Be interesting if this new lad can shine as well.

think we are weak in the final third, lack a 2nd striker, have too many left backs and our current first choice centre halfs have got off to a crap start - that aside we are alright.

I also think we are no where as bad the media say we are. We have not hit top form with some key players as well. But still 4 wins this season out of 6 and if we continue to grind results for the time being, whether by luck or playing slightly better than the opposition, our time will come and even Vog and Ngog will be all right, I am sure of it.

Another striking or attacking option (who should be Babel, might be if he can man up) would be calming, a real dominant centre half also, which might be Agger

If Babel keeps up his current application we may be OK up front but we will always miss Torres if injured. Our question marks are in CM, all dependant on Aquilani's fitness and settling in. Defence we should be ok.

I have to angrily turn it off usually after about 30 seconds. It's when you see them on this programme that the full weight of how bad the English media is at present hits you. They clearly know less than the average man in the pub and all have their own agendas on every issue which they have to get out.
