Heard whispers about this earlier this morning. Dreadful attack. According to what i heard, he actually 'died' but medics were able to bring him back. On life support now, apparently and he wont play football again. Sickening.

It was something to do with his sister and some Carribean b/f that sparked it off. A 25 y/o caribbean has been arrested.

He's on life supprot due to having lost a lot of blood, not looking good for the poor guy at this point as to whether he makes it through or not

One of today's papers claiming he may have to have a leg amputated, his injuries are that bad.

 

Didn't Souness have someone trying to break his legs when he played for us? If memory serves the story was that two guys were jumping on his legs in the toilets of a club, and he ended up missing a number of games due to leg injuries. Probably urban myth, but I remember some story like that doing the rounds.
