but Redknapp is a crafty cockney wheeler dealer arm around the players managerial genius

Fleet Street's finest must be finding it hard to compute this

Gotta laugh at the Spuds :D (until you realise that its probably the Mancs that'll benefit longer term)

Burnley are more likely to kick lumps out of the Mancs and give it everything!

Spurs are great, it does not matter who is in charge, they just keep buying forwards and midfielders but never any decent defenders.

They have 2 crocks in King and Woodgate, a yard dog in Dawson and no fullbacks who can defend. As for the keepers...

kinell. As soon as I saw this thread, I thought "no way" have Spurs thrown a 3 goal lead....then I opened it....

Problem is, if Spurs go out, the Mancs win the LC

On this showing Spurs wouldn't get anywhere near United anyway. They really have been shocking. As soon as the 2nd goal went in they caved. There's no heart or belief in their team at all.

Rang a Manc mate of mine (I'm allowed have one, right ?) and he was sitting with his wife watching some boring prog. Whilst on the phone, Burnley scored the 3rd.

The channgel was switched, the missus stayed quiet until my mate told her this was staying on - lets just say he quickly said "Call you back in a min"

5 mins later, I got a call and the missus was reading her book in bed :D :D :D

if Spurs go through, the Mancs win the LC

it will just mean they'll have to pick a stronger side

Spurs play Utd in the FA cup on Saturday. Have they put out a 2nd string tonight to rest players ?

Not particularly:

Tottenham: Alnwick, Gunter, Woodgate, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Bentley, Zokora, Huddlestone, O'Hara, Modric, Defoe.

Subs: Cesar, Bale, Pavlyuchenko, Giovani, Campbell, Taarabt, Rocha.

There should have been enough there to defend a 3 goal lead and score if needed.

They'd probably already decided to play the weak side Saturday! :-)
