Hassony Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 decent performance yesterday, Daniel Pacheco played well , as did Vincent Weijl Jordy Brouwer was poor as usual
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Forgot that was on last night. What was the score?
Hassony Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 Forgot that was on last night. What was the score? 1-0
Bigal Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 there was few times Pacheco picks the ball, beats his man, looks at Brouwer, who is stood f***ing still
Hassony Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 there was few times Pacheco picks the ball, beats his man, looks at Brouwer, who is stood f***ing still I really stuggle to understand why he is in the team, I don't think I have ever seen a worse player at any level Simon looked much better when he came on for the last 10 minutes
Bailo Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 there was few times Pacheco picks the ball, beats his man, looks at Brouwer, who is stood f***ing stillIt has to be asked again, but what the hell is the point of Brouwer? Could we not have figured something from the howls of laughter from Ajax when we "poached" him? Only thing I can think of is we wanted a bigger target man in our team of midgets.
alias75 Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Dont think Brouwer will play too much when Nemeth's fit. Pacheco played well yesterday took his goal really well.
Hassony Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 Dont think Brouwer will play too much when Nemeth's fit. Pacheco played well yesterday took his goal really well. Simon, Amoo, nathan Eccleston should all be ahead of him anyway what about Duran, he looks a good player, but at 20 will he ever be able to make it at liverpool, he has been very unlucky with injuries
Bigal Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 he is lucky to be in the team after 2 cruciates, so he must be very highly rated
Snoeker Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 I really stuggle to understand why he is in the team, I don't think I have ever seen a worse player at any level Come on, have you forgotten Dossena already?
Bailo Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Dont think Brouwer will play too much when Nemeth's fit. Simon, Amoo, nathan Eccleston should all be ahead of him anywayWasn't there something knocking around saying Brouwer has to play for contractual reasons?
Bigal Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Wasn't there something knocking around saying Brouwer has to play for contractual reasons? some dutch hitman has a contract on Rafa if he doesnt?
ali Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Report in AS this morning that Athletic Bilbao want Mikel San Jose on loan in January with an option to buy. Tried to get him in the summer but offer refused, Rafa now thinking this one over.
Hassony Posted November 22, 2008 Author Posted November 22, 2008 I like San jose, 6 months playing in the spanish league will show us if he can make the step up
madaboutlfc Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I think we should start playing the bench with the ressies as most of the bench look well out of match sharpness
Chili Palmer Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I think we should start playing the bench with the ressies as most of the bench look well out of match sharpness I totally agree, imo thats what the reserves are for, keep potential first teamer fit/on form, not a glorified youth team. might sort out a few egos as well.
Maldini Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I totally agree, imo thats what the reserves are for, keep potential first teamer fit/on form, not a glorified youth team. might sort out a few egos as well. It's really not.

Sion Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 This is an utter farce. From .tvHighlights how messed up our system currently is Vice-captain Jay Spearing will also not be involved tonight because he is training with the first team squad this week. "Jay won't be involved because he is training with the first team along with Martin Kelly and Jordy Brouwer," added Ablett. Now, Kelly, I can see some promise inSpearing, isn't at all a terrible playerBUTWhat is the actual point of Brouwer training with the first team? To give Keane a few pointers? What an absolute waste of time for all involved.
Hassony Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 What is the actual point of Brouwer training with the first team? To give Keane a few pointers? What an absolute waste of time for all involved. Maybe an oppurtunity for the senior players to have a laugh at him to help them forget the disappointment of saturday? or maybe its the only way that we can stop him from playing for the reserves (contract clause)
Sion Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 or maybe its the only way that we can stop him from playing for the reserves (contract clause) That did cross my mind, but it seems an awful lot of effort to go to. I don't believe he has that clause either. It would be too stupid of Rafa, surely. Will be interesting to see who plays upfront tonight, with Nemeth on the bench and Litmanen II with the first team. Ecclestone?

Simon or the brazilian fella I think, although hopefully Ecclestone will be involved I think the clause bit is too far fetched.
Sion Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Simon or the brazilian fella I think, although hopefully Ecclestone will be involved I think the clause bit is too far fetched. Flora? He's supposed to absolutely awful. Simon doesn't look great when i've seen him as well. I'm actually worried for Browuer after reading this If you weren't a footballer? I had to be a footballer because I can't do anything else. Weijl came across well in his reserve interview thing.
Hassony Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 out of curosity, how much do you think Browuer earns a week? £300?
