I really stuggle to understand why he is in the team, I don't think I have ever seen a worse player at any level

It has to be asked again, but what the hell is the point of Brouwer? Could we not have figured something from the howls of laughter from Ajax when we "poached" him?

 

Only thing I can think of is we wanted a bigger target man in our team of midgets.

what about Duran, he looks a good player, but at 20 will he ever be able to make it at liverpool, he has been very unlucky with injuries

Report in AS this morning that Athletic Bilbao want Mikel San Jose on loan in January with an option to buy. Tried to get him in the summer but offer refused, Rafa now thinking this one over.

I totally agree, imo thats what the reserves are for, keep potential first teamer fit/on form, not a glorified youth team. might sort out a few egos as well.
