It's not only the weather that I'm not happy about here," added Vidic. "In Russia and Serbia the people's way of life is similar. In England it's totally different. Here they just don't have time to feel the joy of life.

 

"Throughout the week they all work so hard. They only talk to people at lunch break. Then in the evening they come home and watch the telly, so they can get up early for work the next day.

spot on that.....as for the rest i mean i know most United fans will get uppity to f*** about this sort of thing, but i dont blame foreigners who have no affinity with a specific club (even if it is the one i support) and are gonna get paid a f***ing shedload anyway admitting they think the weather is s**** and theyd rather play somewhere nice and sunny.

Of course he would. He's from sunny Serbia and played football in tropical Moscow.

they do have actual summers there though dont they? with sunshine and s*** like that.

 

not the old temperature rises slightly but with constant f***ing rain that we get.

after a brief glimpse on Redcafe the general concensus seems to be that the quotes are all made up and the media have a vendetta against them.

gosh what an unusual stance for football fans to take.....you could replace the word redcafe there and use just about every footy forums name there instead.

Before we accuse Utd fans of getting uppity I seem to remember some of our fans either on this forum or RAWK going absolutely scabby when Voronin said pretty much the same.

im not exactly hot and bothered about it, I was just pointing out this seems to be the default stance of alot of fans, though in my experience our two clubs are the worst for it.....liverpool fans think theres a pro-utd media, we think the media hates us, utd fans see a pro-liverpool stance you lot think the media hates you.

most of serbia's in the southern half of europe. i think it's likely they see more sun in belgrade than manchester.

 

i think there is a difference between voronin, a bit-part player venting his frustrations, and vidic, a key member of a winning team making similar noises. both being disingenuous in their own ways. seems there's a few of the foreigners at that club who might be thinking job done. i'm sure the master man-manager will get it sorted.
