Sir Alex Ferguson last night was left reeling when he was informed that Steve Bennett is going to reach Retirement age next year.

 

The Canny Scot whose entire League Campaign was gifted to him by Mr. Bennett was said to be 'stunned' and 'dismayed' by the news which means that his team will be unlikely to reap the rewards of the bizarre decisions gifted to his team in seasons to come.

 

An unnamed source from Manchester United confirmed that they would be doing everything in their power to make Mr. Bennett reconsider his retirement plans.
