United are 1-0 up against Boro.

 

No prizes for guessing the scorer.

 

That should read Middlesbrough 0-1 Ronaldo

 

It is amazing the amount of goals he scores but to be honest most of the time he is not even playing on the wing, he is actually playing upfront or through the middle. Though I feel it is not the amount of goals he scores that is important for the Mancs it is the amount of "crucial" or "first" goals he scores. Just last season how many times did he get the Mancs out of jail? Games where a draw was certain then he would pop up and score a crucial goal.

 

He is a fantastic player, if we had someone like him in our team we would definitely be in with a shout of the League because he has that something extra to his game that would convert many of our draws this season into victories.

one rule for us and another for utd? im shocked and im sure the sky commentators are furious that ferdinand can get away with it.

Boro's turn to be fortunate, cracking save by the Boro defender from a Ronaldo shot, 1-1 HT. To be fair to the defender it was hit at pace, certainly unintentional.

Well Manc Riley did right thing in my opinion, he just gave Ferdinand a talking to, one to one, warning him about his conduct. However according to the following two words "current climate" it is a booking. Also last weekend Tony Hibbert gave the linesman a lot of verbal abuse and nothing happened. Lack of consistency in applying the laws of the game.

That's no longer the thing - see Walcott yesterday? Being booked for dissent is so two weeks ago

LOL that was a VERY harsh booking by Manc Riley! Both players went in full blooded, 50/50 challenge and won the ball at the same time. Just that the Manchester United player came worse off so he booked the Boro player.

Should be 3-1! Mancs get away with it again! Oh Boro have never scored 3 goals in a game this season. So still plenty of time for the Mancs to win this.
