Knoxy Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I see Henchoz is the latest to question where our goals would come from without Torres and Gerrard, and he's questioning the rotation in the league. Boring stuff, you'd think that pundits/players/journalists would check their facts and work out that taking the top two goalscorers away from any team would hit them hard, yet it continues. Does this happen to other teams? Or are just an easy target given we're the most successful English side and have had a poor season?
MFletcher Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Bitter is the word that springs to mind from the Henchoz interview.
Knoxy Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 Not everyone can have an agenda. I just get the impression that most pundits/journalists are lazy and like to toe the party line. Particularly the stupid ex-players such as Merson/Nicholas, laughable that they've got a medium to share their insightful knowledge

Knoxy Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 I am sure most fans will feel that about their teams Its just that we analyse everything we hear about liverpool You're probably right, plus we probably suffer due to being bigger and more newsworthy than most other teams
Extraordinary Swindle Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Season of myths and mellow fruitlessness
MarkD Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I thought the thread title was a lisping attempt to attract the attention of a young honey.

Guest PaulMcC Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Anither myth, even amongst our own fans, is that Alonso gets bullied out of games against crap teams. If that was true he'd have barely played a good game for us.
Hassony Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Another Myth is that kuyt has a poor first touch.........

Kahnee Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Another Myth is that kuyt has a poor first touch......... He has a better second touch - but then it gets so much practice...
Guest Ant Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Anti-Liverpool b******s. Why can't they just leave us alone?
Spike Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 if you read the article he actually hasn't said too much different from what has been said on here and elsewhere
Kahnee Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 if you read the article he actually hasn't said too much different from what has been said on here and elsewhereThat's not the point
downunder Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I can't believe Henchoz is only 33!!! He seems to have been around for ages.
Maldini Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Anti-Liverpool b******s. Why can't they just leave us alone? You're turning into a monotonous little cretin, have a word with yourself.

Frosty Jack Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Benitez never rotated Henchoz, he let him rot in the reserves. Subtle difference.
RP Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 He has a better second touch - but then it gets so much practice... His second touch is either a tackle or a challenge to win the ball from an opposition throw-in.
