Why on earth does Brouwer keep playing - is it a homage to the strange choices Rafa makes up front? He's clearly destined for Preston North End or Burnley at best.

I'd rather Pacheco get more experience of open age football because he looks a real talent.

Yes

Will get some flowers for the wife on the way home, and then whilst she is putting them in a vase, remove the batteries from the remote.

Don't think he's ready enough to play such an amount. Brouwer is crap though.

Is it just that he's too young to play too often?

Suppose that's why but we're extremely protective over our young players, they aren't made of glass.

Rooney was playing for Everton's first team at 16, and I know he was particularly strong for his age but I'm a firm believer these kids have to be exposed to playing open age from around 17 if they look good enough.

Fabregas is another.

I also thought we might have seen Agger get a run out, he must still be a bit a way off.

I actually think he's a great example; Fabregas always looked a talented player, but would he be the player he is now had he not learned to mix it with the big boys from a young age?

These kids have to be pushed to take the level of their game higher, and I think Pacheco is the perfect example of a kid with genuine ability who should be playing open age, competitive football young though he is.

Not a question of being afraid to play him at reserve level though is it - he's played there. I would imagine its more a question of having him play too often. He was in the Under 18 side that played last Thursday wasn't he?

Fabregas was thrown in but he wasn't played every week.

people need to calm down about pacheo. from what i have seen this season, his rightful place should be in the youth team and on the bench for the reserves. he still looks a bit lost for the ressies. although he looks to have great potential.

the next player to come out from the reserves is nemeth. he reminds me so much of robbie. fingers crossed he turns out to be even half the player that robbie was.

nemeth for me should be given a chance on the bench. especially with our current goal scoring problems

He's the reserves equivalent of Voronin, I groan every time I see his name in the team.

Insua looking good

Looks good every time I see him play - should have been involved with the first team squad this year for me considering Riise's form.
