Stevie H Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 looking forward to this. we're going to take them to the bloody cleaners.
Stevie H Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Paul Ince Makes me shudder just thinking about it'the guv'nor'. c*** should have been a f***ing darts player.
stressederic Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 'the guv'nor'. c*** should have been a f***ing darts player. The way he used to wander around the centre circle with a look of disinterest suggests that he may as well have been a darts player.
McBain Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 his head would have made a great darts board
Guz Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Torres will rip them a new a****** on tuesday night
Sion Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I'm well up for this now... Inter's team will be something like CesarMaiconCordobaMaterazziMaxwellVieiraCambiassoZanettiStankovicCruz Ibrahimovic what's to fear about that?
Bailo Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 They'll beat us over 2 legs.Haven't you heard? They can knock us out on Tuesday.
San Diego Red Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I hope Skrtel and Masch t*** that Materazzi. He's a horrible c***.

Logic Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 not a f***ing patch on that juventus 2005 side.Still better than Barnsley IMHO...... We'll put up a good fight. We always do that in Europe.
Tetti Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I hope Skrtel and Masch t*** that Materazzi. Both are far scarier looking than Zizou. Bet he doesnt open his gob to them.
Falconhoof Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Haven't you heard? They can knock us out on Tuesday. I just have a bad feeling about this. People talk about our performances in Europe but that hasn't been there to the same degree this season. Inter are flying, we're low on confidence and composure. It feels completely different to other ties we've faced like that Juventus tie with half the team out. Then you knew they'd struggle to outfight us and struggle to score against us. Not this tie though.I hope, really hope Rafa proves me wrong and takes us to the final.

Tyler Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 need a repeat of the 2005 juventus game high tempo high adrenaline and try and get at them early i'd play gerrard ahead of alonso and masch and give him licence to roam and run behind torres play two wingers - babel and benayoun/pennant worried that they will score though
Guest Snorky Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 It's the same ref from the Juve game as well However I am worried. I can see Torres playing as a lone striker and then coming off injured with a re-occurence of his injury.
Falconhoof Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 i would take a 0-0 now That would be a good result and give us a bit of confidence. Keep a clean sheet at Anfield and give them away goals to fear in their home leg.
Tyler Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 a lot of parallels with juventusteam that night Carson, Finnan, Carragher, Hyypia, Traore, Luis Garcia, Gerrard, Biscan, Riise, Le Tallec (Smicer 73), Baros (Nunez 66). game that night revolved around a very mobile front four wonder if that is why babel taken off on saturday - will he play him behind torres (similar to le tallec role) need to go at themitalian teams will pick you off if you play at their tempomilan have done it to us and united second half in istanbul - nothing to lose - ran around and we got the goals italian league is played at a much slower pace than englandgame is made for torres to cement his legend status

Quite a possive post that and some of the others above, rolllllllllllll on Tuesday (I'm getting bladderd either way, would mind sommin to celebrate tho!)
windy city red Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Finnan-Skrtel-Hyypia-RiiseGerrard-Mascherano-LucasBenayoun-Torres-Babel Get Agger for Hyypia in the last 15 mins or so if possible.

Yes, drop our key defender and take off another CB for a player who's been injured for 6 months - no matter what Foolproof
windy city red Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Yes, drop our key defender and take off another CB for a player who's been injured for 6 months - no matter what Foolproof CLEARLY "if possible" means "no matter what". Thanks for taking your time to read sentences carefully.
Knoxy Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 CLEARLY "if possible" means "no matter what". Thanks for taking your time to read sentences carefully. Why would we want to change our CB's with 15 minutes to go? Unless of course one of them is having a shocker Pre-determined substitions are daft at the best of times, your suggestion is spectacularly stupid
