..no, not the post strike

When da boss won the Champions League I gave him a 5 year contract in my mind (good of me!). Surely that was the least he deserved for such a fabulous achievement?

That gives him 2 more seasons to come up with the goods. Which would also stop the Mancs overtaking us in the number of league titles they've won.

There are many who would hand the job over to Maureen by the end of the current 2007-8 term, but I think he's won the right to give it a decent shot to overturn our long run without the League Title.

Will we need more players? Another centre back and a striker most likely. Perhaps others?

Has he got the backing of the owners? Definitely!

£££ available? He's been assured many times the money's there

It would be fantastic to start our 1st season in the new stadium as champions with Rafa at the helm...wouldn't it?

I think the current side has got this and probably two or three more seasons in it before it will naturally start to break up and change dynamic. You can look at the age of such as Finnan, Carra and Gerrard, and if such as Reina, Alonso and Torres will be signing second or third contracts to extend their stay overseas. In such terms, the clock is ticking.

I can't believe people have given up on us winning the title this season.

no team has ever came back from being 6 points behind the leaders at the begining of november

If Benitez doesn't keep us in it till the end and show obvious improvments then I wouldn't give him next season.

I think that's a very good point.

Carra is already nearly 30 and is increasingly likely to pick up wear'n'tear injuries (as Henchoz did before him). I don't think Gerrard's game lends itself to a career stretching into the mid-30's either.

How long the likes of Reina, Alonso, Torres and Mascherano would be willing to stay here in the absence of sustained title challenges is open to question too.

Would you please become the Chairman so our club could benefit from your decisive judgement.

Jesus wept. Exactly 3 years ago (Nov 04) the idea of Rafa delivering a European Cup, let alone two finals, would have been considered absurd.

Now he's got to deliver in the next 7 months, irrespective of anything else that may happen?

you do keep making yourself look very foolish ant by coming out with this kind of sky generation new fan crap. perhaps understandable given your age.

I can only hope that our owners don't subscribe to the "I want everything and I want it now" school that you seem to agree with...

So because i want Liverpool to win the league, I'm a Sky Generation fan...

sound...

And yes Benitez does have to challenge for the league this season and keep us in it till the end, he's had enough time.

that's right. because the people calling you that don't want Liverpool to win the league.

it's fun arguing like this; I can see why you do it.

if arsenal fail to win anything again this year and fall out of the title race early on do you think wenger should be sacked

you seriously think that without rafa we would have got those players?

Do you seriously think those players would stay if we didn't challenge for the league?

Not really, I'm sure they want the league as much as i do.

But I'm sorry for thinking that this season it's down to Rafa, he's had the players, had the money and we look no nearer to the title.

But I'm a sky sports fan so this opinion has been brainwashed into me

No, but mind you I'm not an Arsenal fan.

Wenger is re-building a squad their and is doing f***ing brilliant may I add.
