Phantom penalty, booking Essien twice (and then lying about it - you're on TV you f*ckstick!) not giving us corners, not booking Kuyt, Carra and Pennant for nothing tackles / complaining, yet not doing the same with Ashley Cole, Terri or Drogba until very late on.

If anyone saw the Newcastle Villa game yesterday, you would see the perfect example of refereeing. Howard Webb was completely in control of the game. Styles is just inept. Thought he was being clever most of the time but he was just plain stupid.

Worst bit is for fkin penno, he was standing RIGHT THERE. He had the best view on the pitch, and had to've seen Malouda leave the ground once he realized it was behind him.

I feel sorry for Rob Styles. He did what any semi-egotistic cretin would have done. Torres would have got all the headlines if it weren't for Styles's quick thinking in giving Chelsea a penalty that will ensure the headlines are as much about him as anyone else.

Would love to see a compilation of the penalties we've not been given against Chelsea and then the one they got today. I feel absolutely sick. Was the pen their only shot on target?

Allowing freekicks to be taken when walls are only 6 yards away - whilst he's not even looking - is naive, amateurish officiating.

Even ignoring the penalty and the 'two yellow card' incidents (which is hard) there were two free-kicks in the second half where he made sure Liverpool's wall was ten yards back but didn't mind that Chelsea's wall was about 6 yards away from Riise's free kick. I think Rob Styles was happy with the result today - c**t.

I can't remember a worse refereeing performance, obviously there were the big issues, but he got so many calls wrong on free kicks, corners and throw ins too. I'm so f***ing angry.

Absolute disgrace, managers get sacked for poor performance, players get dropped for poor performance- he should be demoted.

 

Not a penalty in a million years, has cost us the chance of leading the big 4 with a game in hand, which would have been huge psycologically, something has to be done
