Confusing article on the new stadium

Says they've been delivered on one page, then says they are going on the 25th on the next.

 

Didn't realise it was going to be Nov again before it gets the nod or not....

I was looking at the bbeb the other day and it had a link to the plans being submitted - I clicked on it and the date it was published was the end of april.. now it has a current date... very odd.

Its it possible they've submitted outline plans already, and that the detailed plans go in on the 25th?

I could be wrong on this, but I got the impression from an article I read the other day on Ceefax that the plans will be made public towards the end of the month and that the November date is for the extended stadium. We can begin the original build for 60,000 now, but the 80,000 which will fit into the same footprint needs additional permission. Should it be refused in November we will still continue with the original capacity.

I'd imagine that the initial plans would have been submitted - but now negotiation and changes will be underway with the Council and others involved.

 

From the sounds of it a new park and ride and a new train station look to be on the cards.

 

About time too.
