Something in the transfer thread got me thinking, hasn't signed for anyone else yet (I believe) and with Garcia going is he going to be used in that second-striker role so we can spend money elsewhere?

 

Rafa's never said anything but nice things about him, and the last quotes I remember reading was that he was waiting to see what Liverpool wanted to do before making a decision on his future...

I don't think the Garcia deal will affect this at all.

My thoughts exactly - it's just struck me as odd that no one has mentioned him leaving when his contract expires, and yet we knew about Jerzy and Robbie before the season was over

How come we keep letting these promising link players go, right from under our noses. It's no wonder Kaka hasn't signed for us yet.
