Not sure where to post this but if it relates to Jamie Carragher it relates to LFC

Just been infomed that a teacher of mine at Litherland High School was seriously mugged in Formby this week, without going into to much detail, they tried to get away with her car + dog, needless to say she is the kind of teacher despite her age to put up a fight, she did but she came off worse.

Hearing her screams, Miss Carragher came out the house, only to call Jamie for help, Carra took her in looked after her and took her to hopsital.

They didn't get away with anything but sadly she according to the teachers is very much shook up and quite badly injured and won't be back till September.

I got told the same story yesterday by a friend who works in Litherland High. The teacher is meant to be a really nice old woman and she was just taking the dog for a walk by formby key park as she does every day - and there was no need at all for what the two lads tried to do.

Not sure where carra lives (like it really matters), but it was deffo him who helped the old lady and called the police for her.

Would have been a better story if Carra would have changed into his Liverpool kit in a phone box and nailed the mugger with a boss slidey whilst he was running away before handing him over to police, but well in to him anyway for looking after her...:)

I go there you see and it has been the talk of the school, and she is a really popular and very good teacher, and having been taught by her a few times, she was always goin to fight back...

May I ask who your friend is?, I'll Probably know who he/she is..

I never went to Litherland High so never met the teacher who it was, although a lot of my mates did and said the teacher is really sound.

My friend is called Nicola and she works in the school office, but I don't think she has worked there that long.

Liverpool star comforts woman car-jack victim

May 15 2007

Liverpool Daily Post

LIVERPOOL star Jamie Carragher dashed from his home to help a screaming woman who had been attacked by two men trying to steal her car.

The attempted car-jacking happened near to his luxury detached house in Blundellsands on Tuesday, May 8 at around 6.30am.

The 59-year-old victim, who is believed to be a teacher at a Merseyside high school, screamed as the men dragged her out of her Renault Clio car.

She had been walking her dog in the nearby Key Park before the attack happened.

As she returned to her silver Clio, a Vauxhall Corsa with two men on board, blocked her in.

One man got out of the passenger seat and approached the victim, who had wound her window down, and attempted to steal her car keys from the ignition.

When she refused to let go of the keys, she was assaulted.

The second man joined the first and they pulled the woman from the car and tried to grab the keys, but they fled when the victim began to shout for help.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman confirmed that Carragher, 29, had comforted the victim following the incident but added he had arrived at the scene too late to see the perpetrators.

The woman later went to hospital for treatment to bruising to her face and arms and was left badly shaken by the incident.

Both offenders are described as white and slim with prominent cheekbones and local accents.

The passenger was aged around 19, 5? 6? tall, with brown eyes and short dark brown hair. He was wearing a black bomber jacket and black trousers. The driver, who wore a waist-length jacket, was around 23, 5? 9? tall, with short blond hair.
