I would imagine so.

 

And if you clear the ball in the direction of two bodies in such close proximity, it will NEVER go in the stands 9/10 times.

 

It was a stupid play (kicking it that direction). But he'll learn from it.

most certainly not the only one mate.

 

what's more, he saved us at least twice before their goal by coming off his line very quickly to counter the Barcode's only threat - slipping the ball thru for Martin's to run on to.

 

and, even better, he continued to choose to 'sweep' after their goal too - very successfully - and once again showed us his balls & ability to shrug off a set-back.

 

i think it was genuinely just pure rancid-fanny luck. a perfect microcosm for yet another game i cannot begin to explain how we lost. the fact it was up at that s***house just makes it worse...

he is a top man I guess. but what makes me happier there is the fact that the liverpool fans are so repectful in that way. I hear that there are some s***heads who try and jeer the keepers before they have a chance to thank the crowd but you'll get that everywhere. It is nice to see the fans showing real character though. It looks good for the club and it makes me feel better for supporting a team like liverpool.
