Bellamy and the press reports

Every time I have picked up the sports section of a tabloid these past few days I read about Bellamy being sold in the transfer window, being used as a makeweight in a transfer deal or O'Neill taking him to Villa. Where do they get this b*ll*x from or is there no smoke without fire? Personally I could think of a few players we could sell off before him. Anyone heard anything on the grapevine?

I would think the main thing Sniffer knows is that he can guarantee after he's posted you'll come on and act like a t***. No need to thank me.

They have a giant wheel of fortune on Fleet St, they spin it once a week to decide who will be linked with a move away from Liverpool this week.

No they haven't. They scrapped that in 1989.... :hmm:

exactly, most of the stories come from denials. Reporter calls up agent asks if it's true whether x player could be joining. Agent refuses to deny it and thus it becomes a story. That's how beckham became linked to us.

Don't buy tabloid red-tops. Don't read them. If you have to, treat it as fiction, not factual news...you'll be much happier.

1. I don't read tabloid red-tops.

2. I treat it as fiction but that doesn't stop me steaming about it.

If you don't know Sniffer, then nobody will.

it's not helped by people like Alan Kennedy on the Legends phone in show spouting s****.. i was flicking through the channels last night and happened upon the show (i should know to carry on going through the channels and not listen to whats being talked about but i can't help it) - anyway, there was a caller asking why Bellamy weren't brought on on Saturday and spent the 2nd half warming-up.. Kennedy said "y'know caller, i don't know whether he's had a falling out with the manager y'know - it's very strange - maybe something gone on that we haven't heard about"..

he said it just so matter-of-factly like that - no reasons given - no substance to it - just came right out with it.. he also said he wouldn't be surprised if it was so he wasn't cup-tied and would be surprised to see him leave in the transfer window - again offering no foundation for this.. as what usually happens they all then went off on one and then went to a break.. i don't know why i leave it on if i come across it - there's not half some s*** spouted..
