Maldini Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Just read over on TLW that he passed away yesterday from cancer. I don't think he ever posted on here, but some of the old-timers might remember him from Koptalk, RAOTL and other Reds sites. RIP Dave
fyds Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I certainly remember him. Good poster and a good laugh. very sorry to hear this. RIP Dave.
Maitopoika Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 As a long-time lurker with many LFC forums I have to say I had great pleasure to read his posts. RIP Dave
charlie clown Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 (edited) what a shame - remember him well from that site that shall not be named. Never a good time for it to happen but this close to Christmas makes even harder for friends and family. RIP Dave. Edited December 24, 2006 by charlie clown
Guest Sabre Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Gees, I remember DD. My thoughts are with his family. RIP.

Stevie H Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 remember him well from other sites, terrible shame. RIP dave.
Dave_the_Red Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Remember him from from my RaotL days. Very sad Rip Dave
Guest Scot Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 That's absolutely tragic. Great lad was Dave. We swapped spares many times over a number of year, we went the match together on more than a dozen occasions. Someone for whom I had a lot of respect and whose company and football talk I greatly enjoyed. Remember sitting next to him on Ziege's debut. It's a sad loss for everyone who knew him. All the best to his family, rest in peace, Graeme Souness' better-looking twin. I'm sure the Saint never paid his debt, you can haunt the cn*t now.
moi Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 & a few bob sent towards the Big C charity. Why not have an 'Inter-forum' football quiz on a mad night out for everyone? RAOTL V TLW, TTW&R V RAWK, YNWA V LW ? Winner donates all. Someone must be able to sort something for this? Just a suggestion thats all.
pjwy Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Very sad to hear about Dancing Dave.I remember him from the old anfield.com of years ago and of course more recently on various other forums. He was a good poster and a true Red who always spoke his mind.May he rest in peace.
sean Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 FFS bad news that. The reaction on TPF is staggering to this bit of news. A true gent was Dave.
David Hodgson Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 This is just terrible. I remember him very well. A witty and clever bloke. We used to e-mail each other a bit, back in the day. Just gutted.
Huyton_Red Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Jesus Christ, that is a shock. I remember him very well
matty Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Dreadful news. Always worth reading his views, and although never knew him, provided us with some good memories. A formative figure. RIP.
