Spion kop Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 EXISTS he's real!!, and he played quite well. Please discuss your unholy love for him if your danish or the possibility of him being not wanted by rafa if your a hyperactive rumour writter with nothing to do.
Dominus Maximus Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 So pleased with him. Being danish and Brøndby fan and all. Had high hopes for him. Bit scared Paletta would surpass him, but no way. Danny is the future here at Anfield, and pleased he showed his strenghts today. Winning headers against Sheva and Dogbreath. Passing well. With proper match fitness he can start games without it being a handicap of missin either Carra og Sami. Well in danny boy, and jeeesh what a crazy tattoo to bout..
KD07 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Shevaaa...Drogbaaa....Whatchagonna doooo....Whatchagonna doooo...When Danny boy gets you... Repeat to Bad Boys tune
Guest Anders Honoré Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I love Agger. He makes me want to do sex wees in front of the holy cross and dedicate the act to baphomet. At night, I imagine myself trambling over the body of the saviour to reach the hand of Agger. He is great.
LFCNeil90 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Thought he was our 2nd best player out there, which is not bad considering #1 was Momo.Looked so calm and composed in the air against top class big opposition, and his passing range was quite good too... high hopes for Agger now
Maldini Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Thought he was right up there in the MOTM running with Momo
Guest macca777 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Excellent team performance showing pace and passion.Momo a clear man-of-the-match,he justs never stops running...absolutely awesome and a nice crunching 'welcome to the premiership' challenge on Ballack.Funny how Ballack had to come off soon after that!Agger was coolness personified today, dare i say almost Hansen-like"!?Bellamy gave us a cutting edge that seemed missing last year. Our strength in depth is very impressive.Another season, another trophy.
DonRafa Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Yes, Dagger was very good, especially considering how little playing time he's had. By god though, he really reminds me of Hansen in looks and build. If he turns out half as good, we'll be laughing
Benitez Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 (edited) DAgger was gooood! Good passing, very strong in the air. We have a very good young core to this squad now, and he is gonna be a big part of it. This, his first full season will be a great chance for him just to ease himself in. Injuries have been a worry, but as I said in another thread on 'ere, i'm hoping its just similar to the problems Stevie G had early on - he just needs a bit more strength and muscle! He's a classy young player. Edited August 13, 2006 by Benitez
Nebraska Red Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I love Agger. He makes me want to do sex wees in front of the holy cross and dedicate the act to baphomet. Cooldude Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 We've found Sami's definite replacement a couple of years down the line (By which Sami will still be playing, of course, but possibly a more bit-part role) Defensively very solid, and completely comfortable on the ball with a wonderful passing range. Hope he keeps this up and allows us to rest one of Sami or Carra from time to time. Mind you, he's impressed last season as well when he did get games.
Guest snez1 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Best man on the pitch today* and has always impressed me. Better on the ball than Sami. *obviously a long way behind Momo though
crisps Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 we prob wont hear anything of him now till march! good performance today from him
KD07 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Got me a*** off the couch like a shot when I saw him in the lineup, like being handed a Revelation from above that He exists.
Guest Blitz75 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 He reminds me of Alan Hansen (as another posted has stated) looks calm and assured on the ball. Had a couple of wayward passes out of defence but the class is there. Looking forward to many years of him in a red shirt
Romario Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Aggar could be our next Hansen. He makes time on the ball for himself. I love Sami to bits but it would be wonderful to think we've got someone who can fill in for the great man once he decides it's time. Love the way he looks like he's got time on the ball.
Guest Sabre Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Was very impressed by him. Composed and confident in the air and on the ground. Hope to see him a lot more this season.
fred milne Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Was very impressed by him. Composed and confident in the air and on the ground. Hope to see him a lot more this season. In his own way, he was as impressive as Momo. Up against Schevchenko and Drogba with a big TV audience watching in what (I think) was first pre-season game and he didn't put a foot wrong. So assured on the ball and in his defending its untrue. We've got a decent squad here.....
aka Dus Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Given that Sissoko is some kind of machine, he was probably man, if not player of the match.
