Another mildly interesting stat is that we made a record 125 mln quid profit last season. Hopefully it'll be more than that this season. At least the big clubs like Barca, Real,, PSG etc will find it much tougher trying to prise off any of our stars when they feel like it, imo. And this new financial strength will be used in the summer, sure of it.

Sorry, disagree in part.. When Trent got injured, we could easily put in Clyne for the meantime. He went afterwards. Take a look at our midfield against the Hammers. Our midfield three were missing - Milner, Henderson and Gini. THAT's why we dropped two points, we missed Milner more than we care to admit. Whilst Fabinho can fill in, I don't think Keita does on his current form at all. Clyne is not thirdrate. He lost his place initially because he got injured. For once, Klopp dropped a clanger moving Clyne out when he did., imo. We should half-expect the same Hammer result this coming Saturday if we play the same team, assuming Tent is still missing.

I would be more comfortable with Milner than with Fabinho. Should have thought you would suss that out after Milner's displays this season. Personally I'm going for a 1-1 draw - which would be fine for us.

Every team has a blip sometime during the season, however, small. Ours has still to come. The next three games will tell us a lot for the season overall but I think Milner HAS to play if he's fit, imo. If he doesn't, then Man City are favourites.
