As I said in my last post...... an off day, crap

Did you watch the nine 1-0 victories? Nothing to do with sitting back. Not enough up top maybe but not for the lack of trying. Even spurs and villa away we played like the home team while they sat back and soaked up our pressure. One mistake. Thats all it takes. Liverpool will try the same. Just my opinion.

I have seen many other teams fans sat in with the United fans and most are just taken the piss out of. My advice would be not to do it because I doubt a City or Liverpool fan would be laughed at. On a less serious note... Sell me your ticket you scouse t***.

That was an off day. Passing was s****, everything was poor that day. Still we got the 3 points. I cant see United sitting back, its not something they do away let alone at home. I think it will be the well known cautious Benitez that will play the waiting game. 2-0 to United, both in the last 5 minutes after Benitez takes Torres and Gerrard off.

Its funny you should say that because I lived very near to Rhyl up until 2 years ago. As you can imagine there are a lot of Liverpudlians of the Liverpool supporting variety living and holidaying there and I can honestly say the same as you. Its a life eh?

I did not see the f*** off to the ref, but there was another incident later on when he should have gone off. I know I am biased because I cant help thinking Gerrard should have been booked and Lampard not because he got the ball. But I know that they should both have got the same treatment if only for intent. As a football fan I was gobsmacked when Bosingwa did his deed. I can go along with the people on here who think Lampard should not have been sent off but who gives a f*** if it helped you win, but the ones who feel it was a sending off and try to justify it are defending the idefensible. IMO

Then what about Gerrards challenge in the same game? He missed the ball and the player by luck but it was still off the deck and uncontrolled wouldnt you say?

They think the linesman was watching the ball so he would not make a mistake as to who kicked it out and did not see the assault. I cannot believe he has been allowed to get away with that. Lampard sending off? Never. Got the ball.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. If he does not get done on video evidence then football is doomed I say, doomed.

Just watched MOTD and I have to say that all three were definate penalties. How you can dispute the first one is beyond me no matter who I support. It was well inside the area. I know you go to see Everton play a lot and that you watch every single United game (Unlike the rest on here who would never watch United and only take their lead from your commentry) so did you get a ticket for the match yesterday? Are you going to feel a bit let down if you go to Anfield today and its another boring 0-0 draw? Like? Oh! Portsmouth - cost us another Treble Porto - cost us another C.L Trophy just to name a couple.

Its one goal per match more than Liverpool in the same amount of games. The rest of the prem just shut up shop against the top 4 and its hard to break through 11 men as you very well know. Kudos to WBA for attacking us, but look where it got them. Anyway, back to my mate Andy...f***ing hell mate, be careful or someone will have you taken away. Match fixing? Well yes, United and Liverpool are good at that. I love the fact that the term "Rolling over" is used on here about most other teams when they play United.

The Ferguson outburst will cost you. His substitutions at critical moments in games are mind boggling, and when he has gone ……well lets see. I admit I don’t know everything about football. I don’t watch the Dutch league or Romania. Croatian or outer Mongolian football like most on here do (so it would often seem when an obscure players name is mentioned as a possible buy) and I don’t wear a replica Liverpool shirt that automatically enables me to claim to be a most knowledgeable football fan, but I love my football and I love my team and as you are just writing on a screen I really could not give a flying f*** what girly names you want to throw at me. My remarks were aimed at Sion who on the whole seems to be a bit of a vile person. Thing is that when you live in the City most families have Everton and Liverpool fans contained within. I can understand the rivalry, but some of the stuff posted on here about Everton borders on sheer hatred (About their fans), surely it cant really be like that in the household? That cant be healthy? Before you ask, there are no City fans in my family. My brother supports Liverpool. As much as I hate them and he hates my team we now choose not to talk about football. Best way really.

If by that you mean we are not playing that well then I and most United fans I know would agree with you. Flasher...it could be that United gifted you your top status until last week. None of the Big 4 have been "Good" this season

Theo Walcott may be overrated at the moment but if he carries on developing the way he has in the last 12 months I think he is going to turn out to be a great player.

I dont know any that think we are playing well at so far this season. We are amazed we are at the top and still in the race. But I bet your United mates you always talk about think we have been by far the best team in the universe all season? Dont worry about Tuesdays game Andy. If we go out then so be it.

That is very true. If we meet somewhere in the middle it should be about right. Babbel reminds me a little bit of Ole. Fantastic sub and can sometimes change the game late on, but not great when starting the game. Obviously not as good as Ole, but I think you get my drift. To be honest having read this thread there is not much point in taking 90% of the views seriously as Bias is the overriding factor im most choices. Lampard is not overrated, maybe in an England shirt but not when playing for Chelsea. Gerrard is the better player of the two but Lampard is not far behind him. Rio is in no way overrated and is in fact better than Vidic. Rio looks lazy because he makes the game look so simple whereas Vidic is all blood and guts and gets our emotions flowing. Rio is one of the best Central defenders in the world. There are others but I cant be that bothered. An example of overrated players in our league are SWP and Lennon of Spurs. Adebayor and Ablongahor are two other examples. IMO
