On BBC Sport just now. No full story yet.

Amusing and some very good points made.

Really like this bit.

Impressed with all of them really though the Arsenal one is certainly the funniest.

Apologies if this has already been asked but did we actually sell Gonzales to Betis or is he technically on loan?

Poor lad. Rest in peace Liam. YNWA

And yet another dig from Keys about Torres being subbed against Chelsea.

I wonder if it was the fact that it was Sami who was fouled that made the Referee question if it was a penalty or not. Perhaps he felt Hyypia might have been trying to 'win' a penalty to make up for conceeding one earlier. Or maybe not.

Arsenal last season at Anfield?

Not forgetting, to Rafa "So Rafa, did your luck finally run out against Chelsea or were you beaten by the better team". That's your two options apparently.

Justice for the 96 YNWA

You can never be sure

We're in a good position now. If we come away with anything from Arsenal next Saturday I will be very confident of us holding on.

I'm not sure, it's a tough call but if pushed I think I'd probably settle for that too.

Like you didn't know what would happen.

What a farce.

Nice confidence boost for them ahead of our CL tie. Credit to them though.

You're right and I think it's become an issue of mentality. I'm not sure what you do to get past that but it's why I wouldn't like to meet them in the CL. Not because they're a better team than us but because I fear that this 'issue' we have with playing the mancs would override the confidence we clearly possess going into European games. It's a tricky one.

I recall thinking the same as Coyler with regards to last season's game at OT. We definitely started quite brightly before gradually seeing less and less of the ball and then finally capitulating. It's almost as if we would need to score within the opening five/ten minutes in order to retain a real grip on the game. Not good.

Although it still would have been hugely disappointing, if it had ended 1-0 I think we could have been fairy pleased with our 2nd half response with ten men. As it was they scored the couple late on just to really hammer home the pain. One of these days, one of these days.
