I remember thinking he looked quite good during the Euros. I'm assuming this is the same Afellay? -
I've never truly bought into the idea that any of the referees in the Premier League are actually corrupt per se but after yesterday I am seriously starting to question it. Seeing the replay and the view Rob Styles had of the incident, I genuinely am not sure what other explanation there can be. very bizarre.

It was wasn't it. I was expecting a period of sustained pressure from Everton at some stage of the game and it only briefly materialised once we were 2 up and cruising.

Indeed. It seems Gerrard reads being played in a position other than central midfield solely as a compliment to his versatility rather than a critique of his ability to play in the middle. -
The best bit is the lad going absolutely crazy behind the goal.
