i think he wasnt given enough chances last season,dont know whats the reason.and he has been in a good form since the summer,when he lead argentina to win the u-20 WC and he is on fire in the la liga.was unlucky not to score yesterday,cassilas (sp) is ridicoulesly (sp) good,but you could see how he can cope with two of the toughest CB in europe.he has quick feet,good awarness,creative,good finisher and wasnt affraid to get stuck in with ramos and cannavaro... plus,he is a punk,we need that type in our attack.

we should bid for aguero.would take a massive fee,but this kid is just what we need.

actually,his best position is behind the striker.he never played right wing in israel.he played as a left winger,which he does better then RW in my opinion,and even as striker.but not as a RW.

so what if rafa brought him????he was a very very good player,with the potential to be world class.it was clear for whoever followed him in atleti.i dont think rafa has added anything to his game.not yet anway.most of his goals he created by himself,because he just HAS that ability.that is why i thought he is exactly the type of striker we needed,and not "a poacher".we dont create enough goal scoring chances.shooting from 20 yards,and crossing balls into the box are not chances.creating a chance for a striker means leaving him infront of the keeper,wether (sp) its with a accurate cross,or with a through pass.how many of those do we create? i dont think kuyt is good enough,but with all honesty,how many scoring chances does he get?the best poachers in recent years are RVN,trezeque and crespo and i doubt even they would score much the way we are playing...

sadly,i agree about kuyt dissapointing.he just isnt good enough.he has great mentality and stamina,but thats about all he has.we need better. i dont understand why we never try kewell or benayoun in that position.both are clever players with good movement and passing skills and have WAY better technique then kuyt and voronin.or at least let babel partner torres upfront.let them put heavy pressure on the opposition CB`s.

actually,benayoun is a winner.was a winner since he started first team football when he was 15.a winner in the israeli league,a winner in european competitions and a winner in the national team.

there are a few mentions in the media that gio dos-santos contract is expiring in the summer,and he is also reported as having a low fee release clause in his contract... not ready for first team,but he is touted as a hugh potential so...

i also dont think rafa will be here next season,unless a miracle will happend and we will win the league or CL. but i very much doubt mourinho will replace him.i think he will very much want to go to another english team and beat abramovich`s team,but without major funds he will find it very difficult,so he wouldnt want to come out a loser. i thnk he is a great manager,no one can argue,he has proven it.chelsea has a great squad,but he turned them into winners.i hate the way they played and their attitude,but he made them a real force in europe.not to forget he had unbelivable success with porto... i wouldnt want him,but i dont know who i would want.

gerrard was superb today.only he played way to far from theire goal.for some reason masch played further up the field then him. i also think arbeloa was decent.only player from our back 4 who can pass the ball. i dont understand why babel came on only 20 mins to go.kuyt was poor.im sorry,but he simply not in the same league as the other top teams strikers. i know im going to get a lot of bad posts (dont know how to say it better) for what im about to say.i dont think its just creative players that we lack.we simply dont know what to do with the ball when we attack.one attack i remember spesificaly (sp)- we were on the counter,kewell was running down the wing,torres was running to the box,and kuyt,instead of coming closer to kewell for a pass option or maybe a 1-2,ran to the box also,leaving kewell with no passing options. this kind of scenerio (sp) happands a lot... also,i dont understand how the coaching staff dont see how useless crouch is in the air,and whenever he is on the pitch,we always hoofing the ball towards him... and the last thing - i dont see what everyone sees in masch.good player,not worth 17 mil.espacialy (sp) with the CM we have.his passing is as bad as momo,but momo is a better "ball getter".i was very impressed with lucas,i think he can do the job.not to mention xabi.

sometimes im really confident about us winning,but thats never the case against these scums.i think that our team suffered from this psycological (sp) barrier as well because we always seem to lose to them,even when we are better (last season was a prime example).lets just win.ppppppllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeeeee!!!

i dont think anyone here doubted how much class harry has,its just that everyone is frustrated with him being injured all the time.but he is a class player,even without the blistering pacehe once had.its great seeing him play again and hopefuly he will stay fit as there arent many wingers with his qualities.

i doubt lulinha or renato will come for free.both are very hghly rated.the mancs are reported to be very interested in renato,and a 8 mill offer rejected if im not mistaken.it was also said a few weeks ago that chelsea sent scouts to watc lulinha.

i dont understand why they would be interested in other managers if they can sign hitzfeld(sp).he is a great manager. dont see rafa going there.although the german league is much better then being credited for,i can onky see him go for real madrid,atletico,barca,valencia,milan or inter.

arbeloa should be first choice.he is good defensively and much better then finnan going forward.finnan may cross better,but arbeloa can dribble past players and he looks up before he crosses.it also seems like he has better understanding with benayoun.

he may not be good enough for what we want/need,but he probably has the best attitude you can hope for in a player.so if you want to critcise him thats fine,but dont compare him to a donkey!!!!!!!

i think you are too harsh. arbeloa is good enough,and kewell (when fit) is quality player.oneof thebest in his position. alonso is also a player of high quality and babel and masch and agger are potentialy top players. but we do need more quality in our team.and i fear that the problem is bigger then just "not good enough players" because we should play much better even with the players we have.we defend well,but thats about it.we seem clueless when going forward.
