was very impressed with voronin.he seems like a very clever player,always in good positions,great awarness and vision.took his goals very well. crouch-im sorry,but im really frustrated with him.lacks awarness,some bad decisions,he knows he is poor with his head so he always try to take the ball with his feet even at head height. penant- worked hard,took on defenders,played good balls to the box.i think that this season he will make the step up and be one of the best wingers in the league. el-zahr - worked hard but didnt do much else. hobbs - i would like to see him in his natural pos.looked like he was too affraid to make mistakes. gerrard - although he looked like it was only a training session he was still excellent.nothing new there...:-) benayoun - was decent,some good passing.what i liked most was he always tried to make a through pass,not just another pass.i think it was he who stole the ball and fed torres at the end.whoever it was it was great. xabi - world class! arbeloa - i thought he had a good game. kuyt - looked sharper then last season.looks like he is more into scoring goals. babel - decent.showed good control and skills.didnt like thefact he took ashot in the end instead of passing it to benayoun. momo - he is the best "ball getter" in the world.also was good with the ball.i love this player. darby - decent,didnt have much to do. torres - torres!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!im just so happy we got him.strong,fast,skillful.the kind of striker we were waiting for for so long. bottom line is we played very well,pressured them all over the pitch.and looked more competent going forward.

i havent seen much of tevez overall,but from what i have seen in the semi final and final he is like a headless chicken.rooney is much better then him and i dont see why ferguson would want to pay so much for him. aguero is briliant in this tournament,briliant.a different level to anyone in there.dos-santos is also impressive.

cant believethey want only 10 mil for him.he is a first team regular and captain of italy`s u21 team.but after the torres saga i tend to believe this site.didnt see muchof him,but from what i have seen he is good.also very highly rated.rather have him then the ex manc.

id go for huntelaar.im sure there are others,but huntelaar is the first who comes to mind.

i dont think he holds the ball that well. and as for him being a CF i agree,and i think there are better then him.15 mil is a decent fee espescialy (sp) if we have a replacement.20 mil is excellent and we must accept in my opinion.

i agree,anything over 15 is good.crouch role in our squad is target man,and he isnt very good in that role.he is a good player,but for a target man he has no pace,he is poor in the air and he has no strength...there are better then him in europe.

chivu wont be a backup.he is one of the best defenders in italy and possibly (sp) europe.no way he will come for the bench.

what amazes (sp) me most about him is his ability to hold the ball under pressure (sp) although he is very little.no doubt he is turning into a massive player. and his goal last night was briliant.

according to yossi`s agent,he will be arriving to liverpool in the next couple of hours to take his medical and will sign tomorrow morning...

i agree with u.i didnt say hyped players are good.i said that just because there is a hype around a player it doesnt mean he isnt as good as the hype. and im not forming an opinion based on youtube.but i very much doubt that all the friends here that want mancini so much have actually (sp) seen him play more then once or twice...(not saying his not good.i havent seen muuch of him so can judge). i didnt mean that we should buy a dribbling wizard,but most dribbling wizards are able to beat a man,and if they have decent pace then they are usually ball carriers.

i think the reason u dont see many assists or goals in quaresma`s highlights is because what is special about him is not scoring goals or creating them,its his skill.most of ronaldo`s highlights are the same,and we all know that he does score every now and then...

i dont understand some of you.it seems like every player who is a dribbling wizard or there is a hype around him you cant stand (quaresma,robinho,u didnt want torres).just because there is a hype over a player it doesnt mean he isnt that good.it seems as if u prefer (sp) less talented or less talked about players just so u wouldnt look like most of the people. the bottom line is simao is a good player,and he did score a goal against brazil.i would be pleased if we get him. quaresma has the world at his feet,he made the brazilians look like a joke and he set up the goal for simao.i would be ecstatic (sp) if we get him.

u realize (sp) he only uses his right foot and therefor (sp) cuts inside all the time...

but thats not his best position.in israel he never played on the right.he played as a striker,behind the striker and on the left.

i have said before that robinho is a very,very good player with hugh potential and if we can get him for the fee mentioned we should do is as soon as possible before someone else will.it does look that he might be on the move as they are trying to sign robben and i believe they have a chance of signing kaka so i dont see him staying there.he will be great for the "number 10" position and he can also play as an attacker on the wing.

i hope fowler will get an offer soon as he doesnt want to retire and it will be a shame he if he retires because no one wanted him.

only if a player is really really special,we should buy from the scums.and even then i am not sure.

the problem with crouch (at least for me) is that his role is a target men,and he isnt very good at it.when he plays kuyt is oprating too far from the box.and we play hoof ball way too much when he plays.when he play we look for him all the time in the air,but he is very,very poor in the air.and i also feel that sometimes he holds on to the ball way too much.

he was close to signing,but he didnt eventually.(assulin)
