Yeah all fair points mate, but that didn't work last season and we have since signed Robbie Keane. Kuyt got a fair crack at the whip last season at the expense of Peter Crouch, who was scoring for club and country and didn't do nearly enough consistantly to warrant his place in the side.

No I'm sorry but they really aren't. Torres is good with anybody beside him, yeah Keane was crap last night and while I think Kuyt is useful, Kuyt and Torres are not our best option. Keane getting a goal and getting up and running is. Kuyt and Torres are not going to solve our problems.

I'm sorry but Kuyt's goal glossed over a truely awful performance. Yeah he works his socks off, and I can't fault his commitment for a second. I think he's useful up front but this playing him at right mid has to stop, he brings nothing to the table out there.

Before we accuse Utd fans of getting uppity I seem to remember some of our fans either on this forum or RAWK going absolutely scabby when Voronin said pretty much the same.

Yeah he's done okay but he's had a small fortunre to spend. This is highlighted by the fact that he's got at least 5 maybe six strikers that he bought in at a pretty hefty cost and looking to buy more without any urgency to sell. In fairness to Keane having read his autobiography I agreed with his stance against the FAI especailly when I see what a balls they've made of things since. Also, I think his annoyance with Liverpool during his time at UTD was that he considered us to be the only ones capable of challenging Utd and that we always blew it. He generally speaks highly of us. Likeable and knowledgeable he may be, top manager I certainly have my doubts.

Most people wrote Irwin off at Finnan's age, oh and Hyppia too. I'd be inclined to keep him, he's never relied on pace and he's easily our best right back once fit. No-one would dispute he's not set the world alight this season but the fact he hasn't moaned all season for not playing and all his experience should count for far more than 2 million if you ask me. Keep him.
