That is true, Kev, but one interpretation is that estimates are low at the beginning whilst building teams establish themselves and their reputations. Once that has happened, say after two years, the estimates move closer to standard estimates. The reason for this is that the business becomes established and the teams can then charge a decent price to provide decent wages (which is a great relief to the workers as they've been struggling financially for the first couple of years). This explanation was given to me directly by a Polish builder who leads a team of Polish workers.
