Tommok

Ooh sounds fun - do they light up when he kicks the ball? I'm supportive of anything that helps him

Ah OK - cheers

Webb admits goal was offside https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cv4g5rp56p55o

And he hadn't been blatantly kicked in the back twice whilst lying on the ground - unlike Foden.

Well that's true too. But they presumably have a few players to choose from if they do want to swap out some players from the weekend squad.. Wasn't he on the bench at the weekend? Is he injured again?

Yeah this is key. I'm hoping with Barcola on the left his pace might open up space for Isak in the centre. One of the (several) issues with Gakpo always cutting inside from the left was that it cramped the space Isak had - especially, as you say, given all of our midfield also seemingly like to push forward and be in or around the edge of the box too

Be nice to see if we have any possible young cover for Isak. But I guess it's too soon for Danns after his injury - altho maybe he can play 30 mins or so. Be interested to see Koumas have a proper run out Presumably they have a reasonable second string as they've bought so many new players recently?

Neville was really throwing his toys out of the pram on the post match. He was saying he hates the automated offside and the graphic they produce and preferred the lines. Personally I think the current graphic format is much clearer (and assumed most people did) as the lines often looked very dubious. The new graphic did seem to be shown quicker in the World Cup than in the PL tho which is obviously preferable.

Yeah I'm not calling them that..

Deffo shouldn't have been a goal. But it's lovely that it's Utd and not us that's getting shafted by PGMOL for a change

Oliver is such a poor ref

Daft from Foden but Fernandes should at least have been booked for twice kicking Foden in the back when he was on the floor

That Dunk goal brought back terrible flashbacks of the Kompany wonder strike

You know you're out of luck when Lewis Dunk smacks one in the top corner from 25 yards - poor old Coventry

Yeah he's not an attacking full back but he does provide some much needed solidity in defence. If we'd bought a decent right winger, then his slight lack of attacking play wouldn't be an issue. Anyway as it is, he looks like a good signing

Yeah it was. Made yesterday's result against a poor Fulham side a bit more disappointing, but that performance was probably because players were still recovering from the exertions of a tough game on Wednesday. Squad depth looks like being a bit of a problem, as we all thought it would be.

I thought he generally played well against Atletico on Wednesday

Carlsberg has always been a s*** beer tho

Ah OK - well that's maybe a slight difference then. VAR were still guessing tho

Yeah. VAR didn't have any TV angles or pictures that definitely showed it was a hand ball goal - so they had a bit of an educated guess. They got lucky that later footage - that they didn't see at the time of their "clear and obvious error" decision - showed their guess was right. It wasn't a clear and obvious error based on the footage presented to VAR. Delighted it happened to Forest and f*** them of course.
