To be perfectly honest - no it doesn't bother me. In fact I find it infinitely more preferable to sitting next to someone who makes loud inane comments all game, at least if they're texting comments I can't hear it! Its horses for courses I guess but I'm just surprised by the level of irritation texting/photo taking seems to generate with some.

A pedant might say that if 'proper' fans are staring fixedly at the game for 90 mins solid, as seems to be the required norm, then they wouldn't really notice what others around them are doing anyhow?! Seriously though, I can understand people leaving early being a bit annoying - especially at it gets in the way of the view of those who want to stay, but as for texting or taking pictures, I can't see why that would bother people to the point of them getting angry.

For heaven's sake there really are some anally retentive sorts on here. Who gives a flying f**k if people want to take pics at the ground - it really is a stupid thing to get wound up about. Some people might not get to go to Anfield more than a few times in their lives and so what's wrong with taking pics to remember it by, especially as Anfield is only going to be around for a little while longer (in theory at least). This whole thing about how people should behave at the ground is getting silly. In my opinion as long as people aren't hurting anyone or insulting anyone then they should be left alone to do what they want without the etiquette police having a pop at them.

Yes those words made me laugh too! Until City start to win things (which admittedly might not be all that long away) they will generally attract the mercenary, money-hungry players and clubs like us, with an ability to still pay pretty competitive wages after all, will hopefully still be able to attract players with the right sort of mentality/attitude. I say "hopefully" because I appreciate that I may still be living in the dark ages somewhat
