ya know 18 goals from a striker who is generally seen as not good enough by the fans and possibly Rafa.. not a bad return and certainly a player worth keeping...especially as it is unlikely we`d fetch back the money we spent.

id go as far as to say that the first 45mins were kewells best we`ve seen in his time with liverpool.

champs league semi all over again......

obviously we have seen a massive improvement, still not firing on all cylinders though....he very rarely actually beats the full back and gets to the byline, he tends to whip his crosses in early....also seems to have lost that zip he once had. I expect an even bigger improvement next season.

has been a brilliant player... gets alot of respect for turning down the mancs and going with his heart in joining his hometown club.. And him retiring from international football....well wasnt it so he could give his last few years dedicated to his club??? wouldnt we love it if stevie g did the same thing...

dudek should`ve left/been sold in the summer.. In a similar situation to smicer, a player whose time at anfield would`ve been remembered as that of injurys,the odd goal and nothing more.......yet because of the champs league final, he shall be remembered a legend. Dudek should have left with those fantastic memories of istanbul, instead hes sitting on the bench...the odd moan here and there, the sooner he is gone the better, love the guy but feel the longer he stays the more his legend will slightly dip. oh and didnt we have a chance to sign christiano Ronaldo for half of what the mancs paid???

Of course we can read into the fact that we have scored 15 goals in the past 3 games...yes the opposistion has been poor, but still lets give credit to our finishing which has been superb... We have a near fully fit squad, our strikers are scoring goals,we are still water tight at the back..........all looking good!!

i was suprised by how bored andy gray sounded during the champs league final.....he didnt sound interested in the slightest.

yes he made an error that led to fulhams goal, but other than that...he was excellent. He shows great composure for one so young, and has got a stunning pass on him.... His movement and reading of the game reminds me of hansen, just needs to bulk up a bit and we`ve got the perfect replacement for Sami.

i watched the game and thought we were excellent first 20mins...with fowler being outstanding, then fulham really grabbed a goal out of nothing...well a poor ball from agger(who other than that was superb) 2nd half and fulham worked hard to try and break us down.....yet we showed the edge we recently have been lacking....

fowler was simply out of this world in the first half.....was like the fowler of 10 years ago

thought he was exceptional during the semi final too.. I still flick on the last....well 6mins of that game, the emotion and atmosphere brings a lump to my throat every time. From when cisse down near the touchline looks like a raging animal...then goes for John Terry.. nunez down by the corner flag with the sight of the fans "bouncing" in the backround... "they`ve rolled back the years........its just like the good old days"!!!

the few times we have seen these guys together, they have seem to have a good understanding.. So why does Rafa not seem interested in giving this partnership another go?? It would seem ideal, you have your tall guy who can hold the ball up and the electric pace for the ball to be played through too....and we have seen this combination work well at the few times we have seen it this season Find it very strange why Morientes gets in ahead of Cisse.... anyone have a clue, is it a tactical thing? is it simply that cisse is too eractic and doesnt work hard enough at bringing others into the game?(which shouldnt be his job in my opinion anyway)

hard to say, but just going on how Rafa has set us up this season...maybe sissko??!?! ONLY due to the fact that the way our side has been set up this season, it allows alonso and gerrard the freedom to attack the other side, either with gerrards energy or alonsos passing.....with sissoko in the side, he can clean up and use his unstoppable energy to cover every blade of grass.. Without him there and it changes our whole structure and balance...of course im only saying sissko cos its how our side has been organised. Missing Gerrard is obvious, a world class player who has been in my view....player of the year. BUT due to how we have been organised this season, missing Sissoko has been a MASSIVE blow.
