i have to say i thought both were imense last night.......there was a 10min spell 2nd half where mascharano was simply sensational, buzzing around the field ending with a sensational tackle on the left hand side....how on earth anyone could question him i`ll never know. hyypia has also been superb this season and has really proved his worth by keeping onto him..

sorry but he had that chance 2nd half when we were 1 up..he should`ve buried it but blazed miles wide.. crouch has one chance and scores........this is why crouch should start ahead of him

feel a bit guilty(gotta be honest) that we didnt show Igor the same respect also...you`ll see a young alan shearer....2.28 in on the right hand side...

id love to see torres and babel given a run together, unfortunatly i think it wont happen as rafa would see them as being too similar in style.

arbeloa was excellent up till a few weeks bk, he picked up a knock then came bk in and played center back......and has been completely off the pace since alongside torres, he was my player of the season up till then.....

Its time for some togetherness here....time to get behind ALL our players. voronin,riise,finnan,carra,kuyt,pennant all have come in for some vicious abuse of late...we need to leave this behind, with all the trouble behind the scenes is it any wonder our side as a whole looks a mess right now.. We need to focus our support and abuse in different ways.. Lets get rid of the owners, it can be done and it needs to be done.....what they have admited today is a total disgrace..it might be ok in america..it isnt ok here.. im f`king livid right now

well ive been saying for ages that carra has had a shocking year and a half.......ive been abused for my coments!! but hey i dont care....this board is all about opinions, and mine is that carra has been shocking.....and maybe does get a bit of freedom for obvious reasons...still doesnt hide the fact that hes slowly becoming a weak part of the team that opponents know how to deal with.... sorry....just my opnion...kill me again if you like .

it was a complete mess out there.....and we do have quality players, something just aint right behind the scenes, which we all know..and it all started with pako leaving....what was a season to be excited about has fallen apart and now is looking like a complete train wreck.....the rafa situation one way or another needs to get sorted and quick.

that would have been the worst 90mins ive seen from us in a very,very long time..instead it was the worst 89mins.. Torres shows what top money can buy...world class, something out of nothing.......a complete and utter terrible display by the other 10 players... title well out of our hands another "fight:" on for a champs league spot.....im sure maybe in a few weeks i`ll be excited by it , right now.. i couldnt give a s***.

yet again we are seeing too many question marks regarding the side, we are still no closer to knowing our best 11.. who is our first choice left bk? who are our best options at center midfield? who plays on the right? who plays left? who plays alongside torres? We dont know and im sure the players dont either....

hes crap....simple as that, definetly not good enough for a side who want to challenge for the title

hes just not cut out for the english game, great in europe....unfortunalty he just doesnt seem to be able to get it right in england.. We are all moaning about the players, but c`mon the tactics today were s****...why was kuyt wide most of the time?? why did we sit so deep.....why was babel told to look bk for a pass instead of pushing past the defender(you could see rafa on the touchline barking orders to babel)

well we are out of the league cup, wont win the premiership....so we are left with the fa cup and champs league.....so yes this game is very important

yeah finnan is a fantastic crosser of the ball......not so sure hes as good as gerrard though

with everyone available.. --------------reina----------- finnan--carra----agger-arbeloa ------------------------------- gerrard--alonso-masch-kewell- --------------benyoun----------- -------------torres--------------- would be first choice every week....with babel and benyoun swapping depending on the opponents.
