  1. I thought he did. I blame Riise for almost all the goals, but i haven't watched them for a while.
  2. we'll never know. why? because he'll never play. why? because he isn't good enough.
  3. he wouldn't play though. he's not as good as lucas.
  4. Agreed. At least one of the legs against Chelsea for a start.
  5. I don't disagree with any of this, my smelly friend. I'm not bothered how he comes across (badly) or what people assosiate him with (vague notions that they've seen this oily t** somewhere before), I'm just saying that The Truth is a big factor in why they keep inviting him on. Or at least, it's one of the reasons. It certainly isn't because of his sparkling wordplay.

  7. Actually i was thinking about Clarkson when i wrote my last reply. I think Mckenzie is miles less relevant than Clarkson, Littlejohn, Morgan and all those mouthy shirts. He's crap telly, and the others aren't. That's why i'm convinced he's only getting on for the Hillsborough thing, which makes me feel quite sick. Are the letters we send and the internet column inches we generate whenever they have him on actually helping him? I'd say it's a big yes.
  8. We would have done better with Torres and Gerrard but there's not enough there to be challenging in Europe and domestically. First 11 can be as good as they like, they won't go through the season unscathed.
  9. I'd agree with that Smithdown. He looks so out of touch and uncontroversial whenever he's on. Sometimes i think the only thing he's got is the Hillsborough card. It was kelvin wot done it, have me on your programs.
  10. Yeah there's definitely something in that, it's one of the lovely bonuses of sustained success. We don't need to overhaul but i don't see this same group of players mounting a considerably better challenge than this season, they've been outstanding and punched above their weight, but they need better options around them.
  11. Tevez has been bleating, probably others too, they've all got the same pressures over there. This is the game managers play. If you can't stand the bleating, get out of the shearing shed.
  12. I know what you mean about RB not being a priority as far as it seems a bit of a shame to be lashing cash at RB. At the same time look at the matches where Arbeloa has been injured, Everton at home and Boro away are the 2 that stand out, we just don't seem to be able to function without a decent option there. Carra hates playing there and is very average anyway, Skrtel.... well. That's literally the options we're looking at, Degen can't be considered at present, you just can't have him in the equation. If he works his way into the equation it'd be a booon, but i think we'll see a new RB this summer. We've been linked with millions already.
  13. Returns for sale on the late availability line.
  14. Options. We're not winning the league because of the lack of them. We want to be competing on all fronts? Options. If the players aren't happy they go, we get more. It's one thing that United have got perfect, they've got it working so there's competition for each spec, and when players get their chance they more often than not go out and perform like they want it.
  15. Agree. The difference is how your holding midfielders play i suppose.
  16. United and Chelsea have been leaking goals at times too. Chelsea are off the pace because of it, United aren't because of their many attacking threats. We haven't conceded goals through throwing caution to the wind except at Chelsea. Mistakes against Arsenal were nothing to do with our fantastic attackers. We were panicky at times last season (mad penos), we've been absolutely melting down at times this term. Is it just the pressure of being top? It definitely got to Carra a few times, and he's telling the others what to do.
  17. We've scored more goals than anyone else this season. Can we sort our defence out please? I'm confused as to why everyone is so blaarzaaay.
  18. massive c***.
  19. The club taking any stance would be a big step. .

  21. he doesn't look very german
  22. It's your civil liberties at stake here. Don't say i didn't warn you if the sliding scale eventually gets you too... Martin O Neill may be lurking with a subpoena around the next corner. First they came for the attack groups, and i said nothing, because i was not an attack group...
  23. legal proceedings against fans posting mad stuff on the internet would set a worrying precedent for you thought wouldn't it?
