  1. I get what you're saying. I just can't be arsed coming on here every day and reading you banging on about how we aren't panicking enough. Would it help if we switched to code red?
  2. Is this Elia any good? more than a faint whiff of a Football Manager signing about him.
  3. The owners are at the bottom of it quite clearly, we can't cope with injuries in any position except maybe 2. But that's not what i just said is it. Bad injuries, bad luck knocks team's confidence. It's a crisis alright but it will be over the second we go 2 goals ahead of someone.

  6. Option 1. we've had bad injuries and bad luck and it's knocked the team's confidence. enough with the SOMETHING IS VERY VERY WRONG. You're like a point horror novel on here these days. It's obvious what's wrong, but the longer there is between the games the more dramatic it gets on here.
  7. which renders him completely ridiculous.
  8. it's madness that we didn't see it coming to be honest. i think maybe the plan was to score loads of goals again and it'd be fine.
  9. That goes against what a lot of people are saying about arbeloa, hyypia, alonso, even warnock.
  10. yes, that's pretty much the plan.
  11. Warnock wouldn't be first choice at the minute in my opinion.

  13. losing alonso and potentially mascherano and we suddenly look like a team in transition again. how completely infuriating.
  14. it's a calculated risk though. he's probably not on huge wages, nobody will give us any money for him anyway, and he is one of our most skilful players. then we have to start looking at how much to spend on his replacement, half the forum will say we don't need anyone, buy a striker, the other half will say insua and dossena aren't good enough, spend a decent sum on a proven player. i just can't be arsed with the hassle of it all. this season is doing my head in. carry on.
  15. no point getting rid of anyone if they'll be replaced with someone worse or no-one at all.
  16. HAHAHA genius!
  17. having seen his almost innumerable crimes with hindsight i'd be almost inclined to say that we'd potentially be in a worse situation had he not sold. he just sold it to the wrong set of bond villains.
  18. Just stick them on the ferry. There are plenty of waterfront stadiums; the riverside, the millenium, lots abroad. We should make it very easy to get to by public transport, and discourage non vital car use.
  19. There's no-one in them anyway. Short sightedness. I'd get one if it we built a stadium next door... imagine the parties after euro semis...
  20. disagree. you mean the airport one? didn't like it at all. we should be where the arena is now. david moores should be dragged through the city by horses and thrown in the river.
  21. Slightly more pointless, yes. Nothing that's happened so far, and using background knowledge of our unbelievably shambolic city council and football club, makes me think anyone involved has the imagination or the money to build anything but a 'soulless bowl'.

  23. wasn't really meant to be. i'd like to go there, it does look amazing, but using the Yankee's brilliant new stadium as a reason why we should build ours is totally pointless.

  25. Well if the new Yankee stadium is good then ours definitely will be.
