I think these are both valid questions. But they're about FSG a lot more than they're about Rodgers. -
I wouldn't take anything a player says to the press too seriously. Anyway, Sami will be our next manager.

I'm no fan of how FSG are running the club, but this is a stupid thing to say. Who Chelsea have as manager is completely irrelevant to what happens at Liverpool. -
He should have been backed. But he made a stupid decision to force the issue and it blew up in his face. Having Carroll as back up would be better than having Yesil as back up. How much better is up for debate, but it would be better.

Human error shouldn't include a predetermined bias for or against any player or club. Which is what seems to be happening in the case of Suarez.

Henry, Werner and Ayre are still at the club, so not all of the people responsible. I'm f***ed off with the idea that Comolli & Kenny magically pulled 70m quid out of their arses. Someone else signed off on all those deals.

He's definitely not the right man to be negotiating transfers, or interacting with the press.

They let it happen, and apparently didn't question it until the end of last season. Comolli & Kenny didn't just withdraw 70m quid from the bank and go nuts, somebody told them it was ok.

If that's the case then Rodgers is either thick or has been grossly misinformed. Which is more likely?

Well, Sturridge has just come off the bench. I have no idea what that means anymore.

I'd rather we keep Carroll than waste more money on Huntelaar. Carroll has the opportunity to get better, Huntelaar will probably only get worse. And he's never been much good to begin with.
