I'm concerned that when Crouch played alongside Torres pre-season he truly looked overawed. I can't remember one single instance where they linked up together. Still, not a problem I expect if Rafa keeps playing him with Voronin.

I find myself stood right next to him before a game last season - quite an experience for a 5 foot nothing pip squeek - he's enormous.

I originally liked the idea of "Block 1892" (still do really) as it's undeniable the Anfield atmosphere has been steadily eroding over recent years. Unfortunately, however, I got exactly the same impression from that highlighted quote as you did. Intentional or not, it's devisive.
