So you can either commend him for his loyalty in tying himself so tightly to one club or you could vilify him for being a money grabbing c*** who lacks ambition. Either way I think I'd rather pass on this one.
Dunno the team that played Arsenal in the League Cup were found lacking (and there werent that many kids in the team) That said, I really think Rafa will start with a strong side.
Aye that's true but some have hinted that Hammill's temperament isn't all it should be. If he's being sincere, the lesson has been well learnt and at least from that perspective, job done.
I always felt that Le Tallac's loan to Sunderland was risky given the dogfight he found himself in and ultimately I felt that the move was not in the least beneficial for his development. For those reasons I was worried about Hammill's move to the bottom team in the SPL. Clearly those last two paragraphs of his interview indicate that the move has been successful at least in terms of his maturing attitude towards the game. Well done lad.
Don't think that was his best by a country mile. I had him down as our joint third best player today alongside Aurelio and behind Crouch and Mascherano, but I think he tried too had at times to shine against his former club.
1. Crouch (first time he's ever got my MOM vote, well played mate) 2. Mascherano 3. Aurelio/Pennant (although on occassion Pennant was trying a bit TOO hard)
I agree - what a paradox Stevie can be. On the one hand "i'm the f***ing man" on the other he's allowed far inferior players to take on the superior mantle.
