Great idea - sing for Klopp. poor form that to compare to him. am I the only one (or only a few of us) that can’t see any pattern of play or philosophy? he can win the cl but still can’t see a long term manager there for us.

That could’ve been worked out. him not playing hurts us financially for when we try and sell him in summer. That’s it. There is no world where he’s worth more to us not playing at villa. maybe playing, but at least training with us we can plan for summer and work with him. otherwise we are writing off a 30mil asset

He’s on loan and therefore our player. in December we had the choice to bring him back and maybe play him and leave him and he doesn’t play any games. no idea why we chose to leave him there. How is that better for the player or us? What’s his value going to be in June, July? August? Maybe Alonso wants a look?

I don’t think we sell the jewels. I do think we struggle to attract cl quality players though. wildly different if you have klopp on the other end of the line vs slot. the club seem to be ok either way drifting and waiting for us to make the decision bizarre. Completely out of touch.

I get why squaddies want to move on. Slot has made it clear he has his first team, then subs. He can’t run a squad. there’s been no rotation. Jones has disappeared. look at the top managers - can rotate players in. Players know your either first 11 or stiffs. its like the 80’s again. add that in with kids not getting a look in, no wonder squad is tiny.

He showed his age today. He’ll get better for it. I do expect those things to get better in training, but who knows what we’re doing on the training ground these days.

I blame Hughes and Edwards. They’re doing a disservice to us and a title winning manager by letting this continue. Clearly it’s not working. Change it. they won’t do it unless we turn on him which is just sad. We don’t want to turn on him. We want to thank him for the title and replace him. we all know it’s done. But for some reason unbeknown to anyone decision won’t be made until we’ve written off the season or it all turns toxic.

How is this anything but a coaching failure, again? can’t complain of no coaching time. yet The positions, runs, balls - all over the place. The decision to sit back when on top and cross with you? That’s coaching. and not changing it. Coaching wirtz wasn’t getting on the ball. Coach, change it. yes Ali made an error, but he also kept us in it earlier. i don’t understand why he’s still here and im angry at our club for putting a title winning manager in this position. He deserves a dignified exit for winning the title. Instead they won’t do anything unless we cause a stink. No good for anyone.
