growler

So Leoni, ndwuke (sp?), nyoni, Rio, those 2 new kids bought yesterday will all qualify as club trained.

Really like this guy - we could end up keeping him. Especially if this is Virgil’s last. Need an elder head for the 3 lads coming up.

A winger? I thought Bradley was our right back? welcome lad, it’ll be like home. Work hard, make s*** happen and don’t be a d****ead and you’ll be loved here.

So fcking annoying. at least come out and apologise and admit you messed up and your time here was a failure. he basically secured on player on the market this summer, Barcola. Arauljo was loan, Munoz was release clause, Jacquet signed in summer. those kids signed may turn out to be great. But we needed a midfielder and a right winger. Plenty were on the market. couldve signed minteh in July. Then camara later in the window. if this really is it, the team has the support. Ignore league cup and get behind the team, we still got a solid squad. But title is a stretch.

Can’t believe it. I fully expected us to get s*** done. Minteh at least, possibly a Kone. To call it with time to go is insane and a clusterf***. Hughes and Edwards reputation surely ruined.

If he signs as a 18 year old and goes on loan, does he count as homegrown still?

A tougher start for the season. Away Newcastle always is, forest at home should be a win, but given history and in this case the ref, was a tough one. Ipswich away should be a win. Feels like we could do with a bit of luck. Looking at goals from first week, so many lucky goals or bad defending. we need to win our games though, so no excuses for that. Hopefully the change in our approach we’ll start to make our own luck again. and once this window is closed, we can look forward with what we have. Bradley coming back, Barcola coming in, arauljo looks great, whoever we sign and then towards end of year we have ekitike coming back hopefully. im optimistic about the season. We do well in adversity generally and I saw signs of recovery in last two games.

Only makes sense if we get both. Sarr covers Wirtz and Isak. saw some noise about estavao? Chelsea player? Anyone know anything? why not get camara and minteh and call it a day?

New contract signed.

I reckon the point is for Bhatia and gang to be involved in the new football structure across this season, then fsg exit at some point before next summer, with new sponsors, sporting director and staff in place.

Any wingie will do at this stage.

I think he can adapt to a 8.

That may be the balance. Not running for sake of it, means you can run for the 90. The running passed the eye test for the most part. Didn’t come close last season.

We ran until end of game. Already an improvement. They tried to lift even with the hits from the ref. The yellow cards were great. Subs and changes in the game were solid. i can see where he’s going. Hopefully he gets the time. I know Twitter not the measure, but some dimwits there saying should’ve stuck with slot..

Get Trent on loan, minteh and a cm.

Happy with araujo and Wirtz yellow cards. i saw signs. Patterns of play, we ran until last minute too. slot broke us mentally. We got used to losing and unable to turn things around - you don’t change that overnight. gakpo body language isnt someone who wants to be here. A shame, I think he can doa job on the right. i think we put dom out right and get another midfielder. Or we will have to give him time tl adjust to being an 8.

I’d go Dom on the right, and drop the money on Wharton. Munoz is then a different option off the bench. Keep Rio on the left with Barcola.

Spend the money on Wharton and put Dom on the right. In a 4231, with Frimpong or Bradley, that’ll be a good option there. Munoz is then a completely different proposition.

Jacquet, arauljo, Munoz, nyoni, Wirtz.

At least we showed some heart. Some signs. A long way to go though. ref was appalling.

Our usual injury time. nowhere near their goal.

This has to be one of the worst ref performances

Need to do something here.

Arualjo is good.

Finally! We have to be punched in the face to get a free kick.
