I love to see the intensity, but there's so little confidence in front of goal from them at the moment. Ekitike needs to learn when to pass and when to take it on. Mo looks bereft of confidence and I'm sure it'll click for Wirtz at some point but dear lord he's a frustrating watch

This isn't particularly aimed at you but I've hated to see some of the vitriol aimed at Mo this season on here. Yeah he's having a bad season but f***ing hell, the bloke deserves better given what he's done for us over his career.

It just sounds like he's never been all-in on the job in the same way you'd expect. The not moving the family over is a bit of a red-flag TBH. This is not a job you can half-a***.

We seem to have a fundamental problem at Academy level with talented players picking up long term injuries and not being rehabbed properly

Sterling made his debut as a mid-17yo and really kicked on when he was about 19 - so Ngumoha's doing stuff about a year earlier in his career. Whether he kicks on like Sterling did remains to be seen

Got to say I thought it was odd he didn't move his family over here On one level I get it 'cos you don't want to disrupt the kids schooling. On another level, it shows he either didn't understand how massive the job is or didn't want to fully commit. You need to throw yourself into it to have any chance of succeeding. If that means bringing your family over with you so you don't have to engineer 2-3 day breaks in training so you can pop home, then just get it done.

All I can see is that they’re being shoehorned into (and I use these words loosely) systems and tactics that don’t suit them. I’d like to see them under a manager that tries to use them effectively instead of chucking them under the bus
