My favourite was when zenden made a half arsed effort to keep the ball going out for a corner to us only to mis-control it for a throw in to the opposition. Rage inducing!!

That could be also be tweaked easily into various midfield structures depending on the game. It could be a diamond with Grav as a 6, dom and Mac as 8s and Wirtz as a 10, a flat midfield 4 with dom right and Wirtz left and then a box with Mac and Grav as 6s and dom and Wirtz as 10s.

I thought first half he looked a bit lost but second he got on the ball plenty and really tried to make things happen. Was it a coincidence that it was when macallister went off that he got into the game, and is that because they are trying to operate in similar spaces or overcrowding that left side of the pitch?

I wonder if everything is being downplayed due to their game tonight. Once that’s finished and media duties done and dusted progress is made after that so no questions can be asked during the press conference and detract even more from the match.

I think a loan with option (or obligation) to buy wouldn’t be the worse thing for rodrygo. Fee could be pre agreed and/or determined by various metrics like goals, appearances etc.

Agreed, it would be great to do say guehi and Leoni plus Isak and fofana but just can’t see it.

If we’re being greedy I’d love it we ended up with: Ekitike Rodrygo Guehi and then Archie grey as the spurs player we’re supposedly after. He’d could then cover defensive mid, right back and centre back.
